Home Sweet Darling: Living Room Reveal

This has been a loooooong time coming but I am finally sharing our first room reveal at the new place!  If you are new to following, Chris and I moved a year and a half ago to a bigger place in Palm Springs and have been slowly making it feel like home sweet home.  Before we moved out of our old apartment I shared a few room reveals with you (check them out HERE, HERE and HERE) and I knew I wanted to share the new place when we had it pretty well completed.  Here is the funny thing about interior design: it never really ends.  Honestly, there is always something to be added, changed, updated, etc.  Because of that I would not be surprised to see an updated version of this space down the road.

One of the biggest changes we made from our last house to our new one was making the space feel a bit less Mid Century Modern and a little more craftsman meets Palm Springs.  The wood floors and built-ins made the transition pretty easy as did the addition of more texture.  We picked up some new pieces at World Market and also the West Elm store here in Palm Springs (favey!) to changed the vibe just enough.

Many of the pieces in our place Chris has had for a number of years and I don’t have exact info on them (like the rug and the club chair) but I linked as much as possible below for you.  If there is something specific you have a question about feel free to shoot me and email!
