Darling at Home: Living Room Reveal

Happy Monday, Darlings! I feel like I spent most of the weekend packing up for our big move this weekend…it’s exhausting! We did manage to sneak away for a UNLV soccer game Saturday evening (Chris played for UNLV in college) and a little wine tasting yesterday but this week is full moving force around here!

Before I began the packing process I had my photographer, Zoe, come by to snap some pictures of our place…I had been talking about sharing images here for months! Last week I shared the kitchen and bedroom reveals, go check them out if you missed it!

As our living room came together it was a serious melding of styles! I prefer shades of grey, cream, pink, and gold while Chris gravitates towards the bold primary colors like red, yellow, and blue. I also prefer a mix of Hollywood Regency meets Classic American with just a dash of Mid Century Modern while Chris like Mid Century Modern mixed with Danish Modern and Antique Chic. Our grey couch is a perfect neutral choice and shows virtually no dog hair, which is perfect since Sarge LOVES it up there! Chris has had the oversized brown leather chair & ottoman for years and it took me while to warm up to the idea of mixing it into the living room but I really love the way it came together, it’s eclectic, lived in, and funky!
