Confession: I am addicted to shoes.  Yup, I will buy a new pair of shoes over clothes any day of the week…maybe it’s because you can wear the most basic jeans & tee with a stunning pair of shoes and instantly look chic and pulled together….maybe I just have a shoe addiction, who knows!   Over the years I have amassed a pretty impressive shoe collection (over 75 pair at the moment and that is AFTER I donated dozens of pairs) but I still find myself drooling over new styles, colors, textures, and details.

Since one of my rules for Summer dressing is opting for sandals I am always looking out for options that are different from what I already own.  I am sure by now you have figured out that slides are my staple.  I own the double strap pair from Old Navy in black but love the idea of incorporating some color & pattern in the floral detailing on this pair.  These Soludos cross sandals are super cute and such a fun way to add more personality to any look.

When we head out to our pool for an afternoon I typically throw on my tried and true Haviana flip flops (why are they so amazing?!) or my Melissa slides.  Either option is water proof and can be totally dunked in the pool if they get too hot.
