Ever since I was a kid I have LOVED the 4th of July.  There was always something so special and unique about the way we spent the day.  There were full days at the beach, BBQs complete with burgers, hot dogs, potato salad, watching fireworks in our driveway sitting in the back of my grandpa’s truck and of course, getting to stay up late and eat lots and lots of ice cream!  As I grew up the 4th became about get together’s with friends, days on the lake, a few (too many) beers, and memories that I wouldn’t trade for anything.  This year Chris and I rented an AirBNB in Arrowhead and will head up on the 2nd for a few days of lake time, concerts in the Village, fireworks, and friends before heading back to Palm Springs on the 4th for pools, BBQ, and more fireworks!
