Once Upon A Cline we gathered our closest family and friends for an intimate celebration of our engagement.  Our families sipped bubbles, got to know one another, and ate some delicious cake in a gorgeous suite overlooking the San Jacinto Mountains.  Sounds pretty magical, doesn’t it?

After 6 months engaged we finally found the time to bring Chris’s family and my family together to celebrate with us.  It was Chris’s sweet idea to use the same suite at The Kimpton Rowan where he proposed to host our party and I LOVED the idea.  We kept the celebration small with only our immediate family but it was the perfect way to enjoy the evening (despite some very important people not being able to attend).

We ordered flatbreads, steak & fries, hummus, cheese boards, and shisito peppers from Juniper Table, one of the Rowan’s restaurants for guests to snack on and had the most amazing cake made from Over the Rainbow Desserts here in Palm Springs.  Since we are getting married at a Wiens Winery we ordered their sparkling wine to share with our guests, that was a big hit!

We chatted, played pool, listened to music, took photos, and just enjoyed the night.  It was perfect in every way.
