Is there anything more effortlessly chic than a slip dress?  They are sexy and sophisticated enough for an evening out yet still flirty and fun enough for daytime.  Since I am a sucker for a great slip dress, and always on the hunt for the perfect one, I knew I had to grab this black & white floral option during the Nordstrom Sale.  The length is perfect, the cut is on point, and the price point is AMAZING at under $40!  I have already worn this dress styled with a top knot, denim jacket, and my Cult Gaia clutch for dinner and music.  While I was trying to decide what to wear to an early dinner/drinks in Temecula on Sunday all I wanted to wear was this slip dress…again!  I paired it with different slides, a panama hat for a more daytime look, and my oversized straw bag from Free People (that’s back in stock!).

I am already looking forward to wearing this dress with a fitted tee and some sneakers in the Fall or layered with an oversized cardigan and booties.  I also love the idea of a black blazer and my slide loafers for a bit more preppy look…the possibilities are really endless!
