Insta Lately

Happy weekend, you guys! Is anyone else feeling the pressure of the Holiday season or is it just me? I feel like it has been go, go, go since well before Thanksgiving with dinners, events, family obligations, and Holiday parties. I am pretty wiped out just thinking about it! With the craziness of this time of year it becomes really challenging to juggle schedules to get some new OOTD photos, better planning ahead is in order for 2017! In the meantime I thought I would share some recent Instas with all of you so you can see what I have been up to!

This year’s Thanksgiving was pretty small and mellow compared to year’s past with just the 3 of us (4 if you include Mr. Sarge…how handsome does he look?!?!) and lots of yummy food.

The Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend our friend and neighbor had his annual benefit for his production company, Coyote Stageworks. It was a tough night as his star of the evening was set to be Florence Henderson (aka Mrs. Brady) who unfortunately passed away on Thanksgiving. As the say in show business, “the show must go on!” and it did with Cathy Rigby filling in for Florence. Sally Struthers, Mo Gaffney, and Carole Cook rounded out the cast for the reading of “Steel Magnolias”. We also picked out our Christmas tree over Thanksgiving weekend (insert cheering sounds here)! As we unpacked boxes of decorations from last Christmas I found my Ugly Sweater from a few years back so naturally, I had to put it on! Each year our tree is decorated with a mix of ornaments from Chris’s parents including some cool handmade balls from the 60s!

Guys, this Smith & Cult red lipgloss is my Christmas obsession! It was part of one of the Must Have Boxes from PopSugar and it is amazing!

Last weekend we headed down to San Diego for G’s birthday. Since we left so early we grabbed a quick breakfast at The Waffle Spot (you guys. they have waffle eggs beni!) before the party.

This past Monday we went to the Grand Opening of Draughtsman, Palm Springs newest restaurant/bar. It was really tough to get photos because it was SO PACKED but let me tell you, it is so cool! The menu is gastropub inspired (think pb&j with almond butter and pretzel balls with fondue cheese), the drinks are all craft cocktails and beer, and there are tons of outdoor games including life size Connect4! I promise to do a full post on them soon but in the meantime, I am in love with their penny tile floors.
