It’s hard to believe Fall is just around the corner!  I feel like Summer just started and every store is already stocked with sweaters, coats, and boots…crazy!  Every season I tell myself I will do a better job of planning key pieces to incorporate into my existing wardrobe for a quick update….and every season I fail miserably.  I am very much an impulse shopper so despite my best laid plans I find myself buying something on a whim and forgetting about that list I made.  Thankfully, I have stocked up (on a whim) on some key pieces to instantly transition my Summer pieces into the cooler months ahead.

1. Suede Booties – I ordered these fringe booties last Winter to wear to Coachella (you can see them HERE and HERE).  They were the perfect boho staple for the Festival season and are a major Fall trend.  Pair them with dresses, skirts, skinny jeans, or even a pair of shorts during those in between weeks when it’s still a little warm out.  I have linked a few other pair I love below:

2. Lightweight Sweaters – Living in Southern California means we get about 2 weeks of “cool” weather each year.  I love the look of sweaters and jackets but they are honestly not a practical investment…usually!  I have started buying lighter fabrication sweaters that can easily be layered when it gets cold (or when I travel) but can still be worn on a balmy 75 degree day.  H&M has this sweater in a handful of colors and they are under $20!  I also love:

3. A Tasseled Bag – I adore a great detailed bag.  I picked up this pink crossbody on a whim at TJ Maxx a few months ago for $26 and it quickly became a favorite.  The saddlebag silhouette is a classic Fall piece and the addition of tassel totally ups the game.  Pairing the pastel shade with more rich, earth tones will easily take this piece from Summer right into Fall.  Shop a few of my other favorites below:
