Spending Memorial Weekend in Lake Arrowhead is always something I look forward to.  The feeling of escaping to the lake, Summer concerts, tacos on the patio, and the smell of the pines are instant “Summer” triggers for me.  This year we knew the weather was going to be more Winter than Summer but we still packed up the car after work on Friday and made the hour and a half drive to my house.

Our weekend was pretty quick thanks to both having to work until 5pm on Friday and back again on Monday morning but we did manage to squeeze in dinner and karaoke at Saddleback Inn on Friday, breakfast at The Bear House, and some R&R at the house before heading to the Village for patio tacos and the concert.  Honestly, it was so cold at the concert we gave up after 30 minutes and made our way inside to catch the Golden State game and hang out with friends.
