This will come as no surprise to nearly all of you but…I am obsessed with kitschy, fun pool floats.  Give me all the donuts, swans, and pineapples I can get my hands on for a pool day and I am a happy girl.  Honestly, nothing says “fun in the sun” quite like a pool full of colorful floats and some rose all day!

I started my collection of floats 4 years ago with the ubiquitous pink donut.  That trusty float lasted 3 summers before it was finally retired.  Last year I added a gold swan and giant pineapple to the pool collection plus a swan drink holder because duh…and now the collection includes flamingos, watermelons, tucans, mermaid tails, swans, pizza, and 2 winged unicorns.

This year the companies that make these over the top floats (Funboy, Big Mouth, and Sunnylife are a few of the biggest) have truly outdone themselves!  There is a yacht, a private jet, and even a jet ski available for your pool party pleasure and here are the five I’m all about this Summer!

The Cloud Daybed – Imagine lounging on this all day with your bestie!

The Pink Cadillac – It only seems fitting in Palm Springs to have a vintage pink Caddy!

The Crown – Ummm, duh?

The Peacock – To round out the collection of birds.

Angel Wings – Don’t we all need a pair of floating angel wings?
