A full week into the New Year already??? It’s crazy how time flies, amiright? I know I shared a few of my goals for 2018 with all of you last week so I thought it would be a fun addition to the blog to include some updates along the way.
First things first, I was up by 5:30am and in the gym by 6am four days last week and already did my Monday work out for this week! Considering I am NOT an early morning person I would call that some great progress. The gym sessions have been pretty quick and are more about creating the habit of waking up and going at this point but I have managed to get about 30 minutes of cardio in during each visit. #babysteps
I have also been off carbs, wine, and whiskey for a week now (with the exception of champagne at polo yesterday) and I am feeling so much better already! Instead of my usual glass(es) of wine after work in am having a Tito’s vodka with club soda and fresh orange which is saving SO much sugar. Transitioning our dinners has been pretty easy and I have been incorporating tons of salads each night. Would you guys be interested in some recipes that I love when I’m watching my carb intake?
In exciting blog news I am so thrilled to share that I am now an Amazon Influencer! A PR team reached out to me mid December and asked me to join the program to share all of my favorite finds from Amazon. I am still building my list but have a few essentials that I either already own or have on my “to buy” list for you all to check out. To say I am over the moon about this opportunity is honestly an understatement and I can’t wait to share more finds with all of you this year!
