Happy Monday, guys!  I swear, it has been quite the whirlwind the past few weeks…I am desperately seeking a vacation! Sunday was my first free day I have had since the move, 3 weeks ago!  I was so wiped out that our date night ended up being one drink before I crawled into bed and passed out…poor Chris!  Anyway, with all the crazy happening around here I have failed at posting links to pieces on my Instagram (insert embarrassed emoji here).  Today I am rounding up what I have been wearing (and wear I have been going)n for the last few weeks…

I always struggle with how to transition to Fall when it’s still hot out.  Pairing these olive green shorts with a light denim jacket quickly made me feel like the seasons had shifted!

For Labor Day we had plans to head up to the lake for a white party on our friend’s boat.  Mother Nature had other plans and there were crazy downpours, thunder/lightening, and general crappy weather.  We made do and had a party on the boat without ever leaving her dock!

Last Sunday we took a trip down to San Diego to stock up on items for our new place at Ikea.  We literally spent 2 full hours browsing and making decisions on what to buy…I promise I post is coming soon!

It finally broke the triple digits last week and the first thing I did was pull out my booties!  I am looking forward to cooler weather, sweaters, and boots after a long and HOT summer.
