Happy 4th of July weekend!  We are up at the lake, enjoying some cooler weather and plenty of relaxation!  I will be sure to share all the weekend details with you after the Holiday but in the meantime I wanted to share this twist on a classic all American look I wore up in Joshua Tree with you.

Jeans and a tank are about as all American as it gets, right?  I love the trendy touch of these crop flares with their very 70s distressing and with so much happening with the denim I kept the tank as minimal as possible (why does James Perse make the best tanks???).  My Janessa hat is a fun play on a classic cowboy style hat and I adore the pop of color in these Forever21 slides (PS, I loved these so much I also grabbed them in black before they sold out).
