Happy Friday, guys! Last week Chris and I snuck off to Vegas for a few days for his company Holiday party. It was the first time we had been off together without something to do, someone in town, or other obligation in months so we took full advantage!
We picked up a Jeep Cherokee from Enterprise for the trip (no need for extra miles on our lease) and made our traditional stop for nitro cold brew at Joshua Tree Coffee. The sky was so unreal with a crazy pink and orange glow across the high desert.

We made it to Vegas just in time to meet friends for dinner at Town Square and then made our way to MGM for Old Fashions at Whiskey Down. It has been years since I just walked on the Strip and took it all in…when you have been to Vegas as much as I have you begin to feel like a local…so we did just that. As we walked around we saw M&M World and picked up a few Christmas gifts for G and poked around a super cheesey souvenir shop, it was so much fun!
Jeans // Tank // Jacket (from last year but love THIS and THIS more affordable option) // Scarf // Boots // Bag // Earrings
We spent Thursday enjoying a leisurely lunch (and bottle of rosé) at Mon Ami Gabi at Paris before heading to Bellagio to take in all the magic of Christmas. We grabbed another glass of rosé and wandered around the shops (Chanel, Louis, Gucci…) before an afternoon nap.
Blouse // Sweater (old but love THIS and THIS) // Bag (discontinued but obsessed with THIS and THIS)
The whole reason for our trip was to attend Chris’s company holiday party at the JW Marriott in Summerlin, about 30 minutes from The Strip. I always love an excuse to get all dolled up and this party was no exception. I decided to wear the same jumpsuit I wore for NYE last year and it was the perfect choice for the cold desert night.
On Me: Jumpsuit (old from Banana Republic but love THIS) // Heels // Clutch (vintage but THIS is amazing) // Earrings
On Chris: Slacks // Sweater // Shirt // Tie
Since it was our last night in Vegas we left the party and headed to Cosmopolitan for a few drinks. Neither of us had been to Cosmo and it was fun to explore it together. We were BLOWN AWAY the moment we walked in. The lobby is a beautiful hybrid of SLS meets Mondrian style and feels so intimate for a massive Vegas casino. We had a glass of bubbles at the Chandelier Bar (goals. just goals.) before heading to the 4th floor.
Each holiday season the Boulevard pool is transformed into a Winter Wonderland complete with ice skating, firepits, s’mores, hot toddys, and SNOW! As soon as I realized this was an option I knew we had to check it out…I swear, I think I am part elf with as much as I love Christmas! We snuggled up and ordered some drinks to take it all in (bourbon for him, hot spiked egg nog for me). I wish we had actually skated but we were too late for that this trip…next year for sure! We ended the night with a nightcap at Bond before heading to bed.
Friday morning came far too quickly and we had to pack up and head home. We planned to do a little shopping before we left and picked up a few early Christmas gifts. On our way out of town I knew I wanted to stop and see Seven Magic Mountains, a relatively new art installation in the middle of the desert, just outside of Jean, NV.

Merry Christmas!
