Ahhh, Coachella.  Three magical days of music, food, fashion, and memories deep in the desert.  I have been dreaming of attending the festival for what feels like, ever and FINALLY got to go this year! (jumps up and down)  Once the daunting task of trying to actually get the tickets was accomplished the first words out of my mouth were: oh my God, what am I going to wear???

We have all seen the uber-bloggers posts on Instagram from fabulous estates around Palm Springs and at the festival wearing gorgeous boho chic ensembles and looking flawless.  My goal was to emulate that look versus the dirty hippie, I haven’t showered since Tuesday look.  I would obviously have loved shopping for fab dresses and rompers without thinking about real life responsibilities (ahem, rent) but had to settle for making due (mostly) with what I had including these Koolaburra Deven sandals that I picked up last Coachella at a gifting suite. I found this long floral vest at Tilly’s of all places and it was a great finishing piece to an otherwise basic look.
