Dollstreet Doll: (adj) A woman who is confident, intelligent, glamorous, fun, classy, can laugh at herself, sexy, sweet, a little on the wild side, nostalgic, up for anything!
I am beyond excited to finally share the photos from a recent shoot I was fortunate enough to be a part of! With a strong following for her custom made, vintage inspired aprons Dollstreet designer and founder, Lindsay Moen, set out to launch a line of retro playsuits and pin up inspired swimwear.
Pulling inspiration from the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s Lindsay felt that Palm Springs was an ideal location to shoot her “Keys to Paradise” campaign and official launch. With her classic red Mercedes, Cherry Pie, playing a starring role Lindsay, a former Seattle Seahawks cheerleader, and her dolls shot 4 looks ranging from festival ready suits paired with cutoff shorts and bold jewelry in the desert to glam skirts, crop tops, and playsuits at the gorgeous Ingleside Inn.
I personally am obsessed with Lindsay’s use of bright colors, unique designs (fringe, criss-cross tops, ruffles) and creativity (old band tees make fab monokinis)! I can’t wait to get my hands on one of her custom designs soon!
All orders for bikinis, monokinis, and play suits are custom and an official website is still forthcoming but in the meantime there is no shortage of fabulousness on the Dollstreet Instagram!
