The Rainbow Bar, Whiskey A Go Go, Viper Room….ahhhhh, The Sunset Strip! I decided to spend Halloween with friends in West Hollywood (aka WeHo) and brave the 500,000 people on Santa Monica Boulevard for Carnaval.  In order to find the energy for the fabulous crowd and over the top costumes a girlfriend and I spent the afternoon having lunch and Spicy Slappers at Rock & Reilly’s.  After a delightful lunch we spent a little time walking one of the most famous blocks of Sunset and came across the memorial for River Phoenix (For those of you too young to remember, River died in 1993 of a drug overdose on the sidewalk in front of The Viper, Refinery29 wrote a great story you can read HERE).  Never a dull moment in WeHo!
