Happy Monday everyone! How was everyone’s weekend??? Unless you’ve been living under a rock with no wi-fi for the last week you probably know that Coachella weekend 1 just wrapped up. I did not attend this year and didn’t even do the party scene this year which is a first in the last 5 years! I am working on a blog post to share more about why I decided to sit this one out and will be sharing it later this week with you guys.
In the meantime, I wanted to share a quick and easy cocktail recipe that I make pretty often this time of year. In full disclosure, I did not create this drink, it is on the menu at Workshop Kitchen + Bar here in Palm Springs but it is sooooo good I had to start recreating! I personally feel like anytime I make this it makes me feel like I’m on a Palm Springs Vacation, laying by the pool, enjoying endless mountain and palm tree views.
What you’ll need:
A shot glass
Rocks glasses
Straws
Strawberry or Blackberry for garnish
To make:
Fill each rocks glass with ice
1 1/2 shots of vodka (I always use Tito’s)
1/2 shot of Grenadine
1 ounce fresh lemon juice
3-5 dashes of Angostura Bitters
Top with Pineapple Juice and stir!
I garnish mine with strawberries but any berry will work or even a slice of pineapple!
Enjoy!
XO, Niki
Wow amazing blog. Following kindly follow back please
my first coachella was around 2005. it was really nice back then. quality bands and a good vibes all around. now coachella has this mass market appeal and the venue is over crowded. it’s not worth it anymore in my opinion.
