Where oh where is this year going?  Now that March is in full swing it’s time to share a little look back with all of you on life in February.  I decided to start this monthly life update as a part of 2018 in part to keep you all updated on those goals I set for myself and also to share outfits, events, and all the little things that don’t necessarily need a full post.

First things first.  Despite the number of events, late nights, and pure exhaustion I managed to stay pretty well on track with my health and wellness goals for 2018.  I (mostly) stuck to my low carb, low sugar, high protein diet and kept wine to a minimum and even made it out on a hike with a girlfriend for a few hours!  In full disclosure my 4 workouts a week goal was more challenging than I expected with my level of pure exhaustion…but I still made it at least twice a week all month long!

Another goal I gave myself was continuing to grow my personal brand and February certainly came knocking on that one!  I was asked to partner with the Rancho Mirage Food and Wine Festival for their inaugural event which was so much fun and a bit of a whirlwind since after I agreed to the partnership I was asked to attend the Day of Design event with Hunter Douglas and Modernism Week…the same afternoon!  I am never one to say no to a fabulous opportunity to work with great brands so I pulled a quick outfit change and made it to both events.

Chris and I always enjoy the buzz of Modernism Week so on the Sunday we rode our bikes downtown and went by CAMP, had photos taken with the iconic Nelda Linsk (of the Slim Aarons “Poolside Gossip” photo), and enjoyed a cocktail at West Elm.

The rest of the month was filled with the Locale Magazine Issue Release Party at The Rowan, a BBQ at our place with friends, a girls Sip & Swap Party at a friend’s house, and lots of work…not all that exciting!  I promise you that March is already off to a much more exciting start and I will be sharing some photos with you all soon!

Another big moment for me/the blog came at the end of the month when my application to RewardStyle was accepted!  For those of you not familiar RS is a platform that allows bloggers (me) to make money by sharing links to what I wear for my followers (you) to shop!  I have been using Shopstyle for years and will continue to use it moving forward on blog posts but love that RS offers the ability to instantly shop my Instagram posts thanks to their LiketoKnow.it app.  All you have to do to shop my looks INSTANTLY is download the LTKit app and “like” my Instagram posts.  When you open the app you will see links to my exact pieces.  So easy!  I hope you all love this new addition and being able to shop what I wear…feel free to share your feedback!
