Anyone else fee like January was the longest month ever? For as fast as October to January went I expected to blink and miss my birthday month but nope! I realized that as long as the month seemed I was incredibly overwhelmed with life and didn’t do a great job of sharing new content with all of you which is why today’s post is all about what has been going on and sharing deets of what I have been wearing on my Instagram.
First things first, I wanted to give you all a health & fitness update. As you may remember I shared a few of my goals for the new year and one of the big ones for me was to get back into a sustainable routine with working out and eating better. I was honestly embarrassed to share how much weight I had gained in the last 4 years but it was significant. I am proud to share that I have been sticking to a low carb, no sugar, no wine diet 6 days a week and indulging only 1 day a week (like yesterday, ouch). I did a great job of working out 4 days a week the first 2 weeks of the year but then got sick for 2 full weeks around my birthday which really throw my routine. I got back on the wagon last week and snuck 4 workouts in! I don’t really do the whole getting on a scale thing but have been taking progress photos.
Week 1 (ignore the mess in my room)
Week 4.
