I love to play around with my style depending on my mood and where I am but always default to classic styles when I am going out with friends or on a date with Chris.  I have made a point of keeping a few classic must haves in my closet at all times to pull out and mix with jeans or skirts for any occasion.

1. A blazer – Adding a tailored piece like a blazer can instantly transform any outfit from basic to sophisticated.  I have a few in my closet ranging from very fitted to this boyfriend version from Express.
2. A well fitting tee – If you know me you know I LOVE a quality tee shirt.  James Perse happen to be my faves (shocking, I know) but you can always find great ones at Nordstrom.
3. Classic Pumps – Since moving to Palm Springs I wear heels less than I did in my LA life but I still keep my closet well stocked with different styles and heel heights to added polish to a basic look like jeans and a tee.
