This has to be my favorite time of year here in Palm Springs.  The “season” is in full swing and there are events galore to keep visitors and locals busy.  One of my all time favorite event is Modernism Week spotlighting the mid-century modern architecture of the city.  Last weekend we decided to experience a few of the many events taking place (if you are going to be in the area and still want to experience a Modernism event check out their website) and signed up for the Hot Purple Energy Modernism Bike Ride and the Glenfiddich Scotch Tasting.  This was our second time doing the bike ride and it was just as cool to see the gorgeous mid-century gems that scatter our town.  My absolute favorites are always the Swiss Miss homes found in the Vista Las Palmas neighborhood…owning one is on my bucket list for sure!  We also got a little sneak peak of the new Desert Eichler homes currently listed by KUD properties.  If the ultimate Palm Springs lifestyle is what you’re after you MUST check out these new homes (and the chic photography courtesy of the always chic Kelly Golightly and her Fred Baby)!
