I often struggle when shopping to not pick up yet another black dress.  After years of living out of suitcases and bouncing between my house, my friend’s homes, my boyfriend’s place I have gravitated to the easy to pack and effortless to match color. I have spent years trying to incorporate more color into my wardrobe and have slowly started amassing a collection of colorful Summer dresses.  This newest addition was a recent find at Nordstrom Rack for under $40.  I love the boho feel of the fabric and this is my first cold shoulder silhouette which I am already loving!

I wore this bold little number to dinner with the BF earlier this week at a charming spot, Europa Restaurant.  The quaint inn and restaurant are off the beaten Palm Springs path but happen to be in my new neighborhood (convenient, right?) so we met friends for martinis and a delish meal.  Must Try: the Dirty Martini (ask for bleu cheese olives, if they have fresh cheese they will hand stuff them for you….I die a little).
