After a long first few weeks at my new job it was finally time for DATE NIGHT! (insert jumping up and down here)  I love getting dressed up for a night out and could not wait to wear this new dress I found on my lunch break at H&M.  The dress is really feminine with lace detail and keyhole so I wanted to edge it up a bit.  It has finally cooled off enough in the evenings to wear my beloved moto jacket from last year and these MK heels are a perfect balance.

We ended up having dinner at a favorite of our here in Palm Springs, Hacienda Cantina.  There are a few different rooms to dine in, all offering a unique ambiance.  We opted for the bar/lounge space and were seated in front of the oversized stone fireplace (how romantic!).  Of course we had to order the to-die-for corn and goat cheese tamale and strawberry/jalepeno margaritas.

After our divine dinner we took an Uber (no drinking and driving here folks!) to Bootlegger Tiki, a speakeasy style tiki bar owned by a friend of ours.  I’m seriously obsessed with their craft cocktails and intimate space, it’s perfect for a nightcap any night of the week.
