My Favorite Way to Relax

Anyone who knows me well knows I LOVE a great massage.  For me anytime someone rubs my shoulders I melt…it’s just so relaxing!  When I was working in hotels and resorts I made monthly (or bi-monthly) massages a top priority to unwind, relax, and relieve the tension I always hold in my shoulders and back.  When I made the decision to leave hospitality behind I also left behind the amazing discounts on spa treatments which made that frequent indulgence possible.  In the years since I left I have always been on the hunt for a great, local spot to pop into monthly for the same quality massage that I became accustomed to.  Honestly, it has been a hit or miss experience to say the least.  Many of the local spots I found lacked the types of custom massages I look for or didn’t seem all that clean…a BIG thing for me, especially when I am trying to unwind from the crazy of life.

I recently found a great local spot in Palm Desert, A Miracle Massage, that is exactly what I have been looking for!  There menu features a combination of classic Swedish massage mixed with more Eastern inspired Shiatsu and Thai style massage.  I also love that when I am in a hurry I can just book a neck/shoulder/back massage to target the areas I personally carry extra tension in.  They also offer a hot stone massage which is a personal favorite of mine during the cold Winter months (yes, the desert gets cold!).  This spot is seriously a win for me…I just wish they would open one in Palm Springs!
